University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur | Kolkata is organising the biggest Inter-School Technical Competition - CONNECTECH (UEM Technical Bonanza) amongst the top schools of Rajasthan on 28th February, 2020 at the Railway Samudayik Bhawan, Sikar, Rajasthan, celebrating National Science Day. Science students from top schools of Sikar and other places of Rajasthan have registered and are participating in this Technical Bonanza including Central Children Academy Sr. Sec. School Reengus, Surabhi Sr. Sec. School, Vardhman Vidya Bihar, DAV Public School, Radhakrishna Maru School, Mahatma Gandhi Government School, SVP School Palsana and many more. The school exhibiting the best performance overall, will be awarded the CHAMPION SCHOOL AWARD for the year 2020 and that school will hold the Champion School Title for this year. Students will compete in four events:- 1. NIRMANA - Science Model Competition - Classes 9 to 12 2. TECHART - Drawing Competition - Classes 8 to 12 3. PYTHAGORAS STAR - Maths and Physics Test - Classes 9 and 10 4. PYTHAGORAS PRO - Maths and Physics Test - Classes 11 and 12 Students securing First, Second and Third position for each event, will be awarded with prize money, merit certificate and trophy. On 23rd February 2020 students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata participated in various events at Feria (cultural competition of sister concern of IIHM) . Visit to *Rambag Palace, Jaipur* for Industry-Academia Relationship Management Program. The palace is a hotel now, taken by Taj. The luxury hotel is the most expensive hotel in the Pink City. It has 79 rooms, 4 special suites, a restaurant, a coffee shop and a bar, one open & one covered swimming pool. It has many facilities like conference rooms, swimming pools and a spa. The Rambagh Palace was built in the year 1835 AD for Kesar Badaran, the queen's favorite handmaiden. It was further transformed in 1925 into a palace and was used as the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur. Students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, 2020 passing out batch are doing excellent in placements again. In 2019, passout students of UEM Jaipur achieved excellent placements of 123.22% (ratio of number of job offers to the number of students opting for placements).
