Students and teachers of BPT (Physiotherapy) of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR has been selected as Physiotherapy Trainers and Sports Recovery Coaches for Inter-state tournament of National Yuva Kabaddi Series being held at Jharkhand this quarter. Dr. Imran Khan, along with the students of Physiotherapy department are attending players of kabaddi teams from various states. The tournment will continue till 21 oct 2022. It is an interstate level tournament where the winning team will win the cash prize of Rs. 30 lakhs. The month long tournament is providing an excellent opportunity to students of BPT of UEM Jaipur to have live pratice and to interact with state level players.  

GDSC UEM JAIPUR is an initiative by Google Developers Community which aims to bring all University students from all over the world to solve real-world problems through Google technologies. “Google Developer Student Clubs” are university-based community groups for students interested in Google developer technologies. Students from all undergraduate or graduate programs with an interest in growing as a developer are welcome. By joining a GDSC, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their community.” Our Special Guest: 1. ACM student chapter of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR in association with Institute Innovation Council (IIC), UEM Jaipur organized an offline Hackathon on 14th September, 2022. A total of 304 registrations were there including participants from many renowned higher education institutions. It was a 12 hours marathon which started around 10:00 AM and continued past midnight. A total of 28 teams reached the finals and eventually there were 3 winners. Some glimpses of the event are given here. Student Organisers of Acehack hackathon - Sahitya Roy, Subham Gourisaria, Amar Sansil, Priya Chandak, Arka Chatterjee, Dipendu Mukherjee, Soumalya Hajra, Indira Ghosh, Swapan Kumar Shee, Govind Sharma, Tapish Vais, Rohit Chakraborty, Aman Kumar, Shanu Aryan, Soumen Pal, Hariom Kumar Rai. Prof. Dipta Mukherjee and Prof. Sagarika Ghosh were the faculty co-ordinators for the event.          

University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur has been awarded as Best University for Placement in North India 2022 during the Fourth National Education Excellence Conclave cum Sixth National Excellence Award Ceremony on 30th July, 2022 (Saturday) by Integrated Chamber of Commerce and Industry at New Delhi. Prof. Rupayan Das and Prof. Dr. Angshuman Khan received the award on behalf of UEM Jaipur. Congratulations to all teachers, members of placement team, admission team, students and other stake holders for this wonderful achievement.          

University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur has been awarded for Excellence in Placements (Engineering and Management) during the Zee Rajasthan Education Excellence 2022 Award Ceremony on 30th July, 2022 (Saturday) at Jaipur. Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Sharma, Prof. (Dr.) Anirudha Mukherjee and Prof. Sayak Pramanik received the award on behalf of UEM Jaipur. Prof. (Dr.) Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice-chancellor, UEM Jaipur, participated in a very interactive and informative panel discussion on the Role and Contribution of Higher Education Institutions for providing better opportunities for students of Rajasthan along with other dignitaries. Congratulations to all teachers, members of placement team, admission team, students and other stake holders for this wonderful achievement.  

Students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR set up a pavilion in the Youth Fest Jaipur exhibiting their different industry projects. Mr. Anand Kumar, Super 30 Fame visited their pavilion and appreciated their ATV, robotic arms and models etc.  

Yet another feather in the cap! We witnessed the astounding success of Azure DevDay- Jaipur with a galaxy of experts converging at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur, to interact with the young tech enthusiasts. We would like to thank our expert speakers Sanjeev Sachdev, CEO NeoPatterns Founder Director, Banwari Yadav, Microsoft Azure Certified 5x Azure MCT and Senior Software Developer, Dotssqaures & Manish Khatri, MCT Senior Devops Consultant at Celebal Technologies, for sharing their immense knowledge and experience with the audience. A special thanks to Sahitya Roy Azure Dev Lead Jaipur and all the organizers of Azure DevDay Jaipur for a seamless experience and an exciting event at UEM Jaipur Campus. A day full of discussions, brainstorming, and community talks on All things Azure.  

3-days Inter-Hostel Football Championship at the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur from 26th to 28th of July, 2022. The event was inaugurated in presence of faculty members from various departments. Around 150 students are participating in this tournament under the supervision of Dr. B. S. Yadav (Director of physical education and NSS program officer). All students participated with great enthusiasm.  

Two days Workshop on Competitive Coding Contest and Web Developement & App Development Contest University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur is organizing a two days workshop on competitive coding contest and web development & app development contest under UEMJ Hackertron, coordinated by UEM Jaipur students - Kunal Dubey, Abhishek Tiwari, Turjo Roy, Divyansh Sachdev, Dhruv Kumar, Kshitij Verma, Sandip Tiwari, Saurabh Verma, Adarsh Kumar. More than 100 students are participating in the workshop.
