Codesta Coding Club of the University of Engineering & Management Jaipur in collaboration with IIC, and ACM Student Chapter UEM Jaipur, organized a workshop on "Report Writing for College Projects" on 4th March 2023 in online mode with Ms Ishika Saraf as a trainer under the guidance of Prof. Jyoti Khandelwal and Prof. Jyoti Anand for interested students from all departments. The presence of Prof. Dr Mrinal Kanti Sarkar, HOD CSE department has made the session more informative and interactive. A Report is a formal document that presents the findings of the research, investigation, or analysis on a particular topic or subject. Students of all departments must be skilled in writing project reports, research papers, or any other relevant document. In this workshop, nearly 66 students joined and learned how to write a report for college projects. We hope this workshop made them comfortable and efficient in technical writing skills . It was an interactive as well as informative workshop that helped the participants to clear all their doubts they had regarding the topic.

UEM Jaipur celebrates International Women’s Day with Ms Mili Das, a renowned poet of West Bengal Marking the weeklong series of events on the eve of forthcoming International Women’s Day, Ms Mili Das, a renowned poet of West Bengal was the ‘ Guest of Honour’ in University of Engineering and Management, Jaipur today. Her mesmerising poems thrilled the audience. Her poems were saga of love and death driven with vivid imageries and radiant memories. Many of her poems were devoted to beautiful intricacies of nature. Her poems were enjoyed by the Faculty, students and participants. The event was then followed by Speech Competition and Poetry recitation wherein more than 50 students participated with great enthusiasm and delivered their speeches on Women Empowerment, Patriotism, Nature, Peace, and Harmony. The Auditorium echoed with the rhythmic clapping of the students. The Winners were given prizes and certificates. The event was coordinated together by Department of English in association with NSS Unit, Dhanika ( Women Cell) and The Speech Society.

International Women's Day Celebration and Jingle Convention at UEM, JAIPUR In continuation of series of events to celebrate the International Women’s Day, Department of English, UEM Jaipur today organised Jingle Convention, a poetry recitation event by eminent poets and authors on the theme ‘ Women as Foundation of Value Based Society’. Many Award winning poets and authors namely Ms Pankhuri Sinha (Bihar), Ms Mili Das (West Bengal), Dr Shalini Yadav (Rajasthan), and Dr Firoz Khan (Rajasthan) were present to mark the event. The event was chaired by Prof. (Dr) Rajul Bhargava, Former Professor, University of Rajasthan. The poets and educationists hailing from different parts of India made a scathing attack on the society for its falling ethical benchmarks, venting their ire over rising crime against women, her status in society, the rising threat of AI [artificial intelligence] and war etc. The emphasis was on creating positive literature. Throughout the session, students, participants and listeners together enjoyed powerful, inspirational, and passionate poems on the themes of Women, love, life, death and migration. Many poems reflected the role of women in building the strong foundation of value based society and women related issues. It was clear from the session that poetry touches the hearts of everyone, transcending language barriers and bringing us together. The whole event was full of sensibility and sensitivity towards humanity and Poetry, making the event a gala success. The master of ceremonies, Ms Shreya Pareek (BBA II Year) and Ms Vandana Sharma (BCA I Year) were appreciated for being wonderful anchors. The entire event was together coordinated by the members of Department of English, Dhanika (Women Cell) and The Speech Society.

NSS NIC 2023 University of Engineering & Management (UEM), JAIPUR is holding the NSS NATIONAL INTEGRATION CAMP 2023 with 200 NSS volunteers from 12 different states of India. Yesterday was the formal inauguration of the event where the chief guest was Swami Sumedhanand Saraswati, Member of Parliament for Sikar District, Rajasthan and the Guest of honour was Dr. S. P. Bhatnagar, Regional Director NSS, Rajasthan. Prof. Dr. Biswajoy Chatterjee, Vice-Chancellor, UEM JAIPUR and Prof. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Registrar, UEM JAIPUR welcomed all the participants and described mission and vision of UEM Jaipur. Proceeding further Dr. Bhatnagar briefed about the National integration camp and the importance of it. Then chief guest Swami Sumedhanand Saraswati enlightened the audience with his views and motivated the young minds to dedicate their life for the development of the Nation. Later there was a small cultural event where various art forms were performed from various parts of India like - Bihu of Assam, Garba of Gujarat, Bhangra of Punjab, Naddi of Himachal Pradesh, Jhijhiya of Bihar, Ghoomar of Haryana, Braj ki Holi of Uttar Pradesh, Kalbeliya of Rajasthan etc. Truly the stage became a reflection of India. The camp will continue till 5th of March under the supervision of Dr. B. S. Yadav, Program Officer, NSS & Director, Physical Education,UEM JAIPUR.  

Uem boys team won 8th Edition of the PHYSIO CRICKET LEAGUE-2023 (PCL-8) it was four day cricket tourmament where total 30 teams participated including Professional physio Female physio teams and Male students teams Date: 16th, 17th 18th 19th February, 2023). This was event was held Venue Rising Rajasthan cricket Academy & Ground Jagatpura Jaipur.
