One day workshop on Robotics was conducted by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM) and the Institute of Engineering & Management (IEM), initiated by Mr. Krishnendu Kundu and Mr. Bipul Kalita of UEM and IEM, conducted by the students of UEM and IEM.
On 11tth May 2018 Mr. Krishnendu Kundu of UEM Jaipur have conducted Robotics Workshop at Guwahati. More than 200 students participated in the Workshop. Dr. Kulendu Pathak, Ex VC of Dibrugarh University, Dr. Jaydeep Barua, Head, Environment Division, Assam Science and Technology Council graced the event.
Prof. Dr. Debasish Deb of IIT-KGP is addressing all 3rd year B.Tech students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata regarding GATE exam preparation methodologies.
University of Engineering & Management (UEM) is a place where apart from the miraculous placement records (being talked about all across media today), there is a culture of growth of successful entrepreneurs. From UEM alumni members, a highly successful company of today – “RoboManiax” was founded by Mr. Mayank Rajput, 2017 passout batch student of UEM Jaipur.
Successful companies like Tech On, Socho Aur Chhapo etc. have come up and many others are coming up on a very frequent basis.
The environment of UEM is entrepreneur friendly and helps budding entrepreneurs to succeed.
Regular lectures and interactions with Innovators and Investors are regular part of life at UEM.
On 9th April 2018, a session on Entrepreneurship was held by Mr. Aakash, Founder of AHA 3D Innovations Pvt Ltd for the B.Tech and MBA students of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur.
On 16th March 2018, there will be a hands on session on machine learning and deep learning using Matlab and hands on simulink, hands on session on multidomain system modelling and hardware connectivity using simulink at University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur.
Participants need to bring their Laptop with matlab installed on it. The workshop will cater to CSE,ECE,EE and ME Dept.
With the advancement of machine learning, technology is reaching new heights. As a result, the different branches of machine learning are emerging from the domain. One such area is known Image Processing. Computer Vision and Machine Learning are two core branches of Computer Science that can function, and power very sophisticated system that rely on CV and ML algorithms exclusively but when you combine the two, you can achieve even more.
Keeping that in mind, IEM E-Cell organized ‘Image Processing with OpenCV” workshop for 2 days on 13th February and 15th February 2018 taken by senior IEDC members.
This workshop was attended by a large number of students interested in Image Processing. It also had a hands-on session in which participants were assigned a small task based on their limited knowledge. The participants were constantly guided by the instructor and volunteers helped in clearing doubts of the participants. They were excited about learning a new topic and were eagerly waiting to try it out in the future.
A Special Session has been arranged for 1st and 2nd Year Engineering Students of University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata on 11th March (Sunday) from 10am to 5pm on “Automation using Arduino”.
Registration fee is Rs.100 Only which is to be paid on the day of Workshop.
Prof. Dr. Manas Khatua (IIT, Jodhpur) gave a seminar based on recent research trends in wireless networks at University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur.
