Swati Lakshmi has attended the Faculty Development Program organized by NITTTR, Kolkata.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Student Achievements<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">15 students judged various Durga puja pandals as a part of \u2018<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ABP Ananda Surokkhar Puroshkar Awards 2018<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Feb 2017, final year student, Subham Roy has undergone two workshops, one Bridge Design workshop and another on Earthquake Resistant Design organized by Texel Group at Megalith\u201917, IIT Kharagpur<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Final year students made a working hydraulic model of Bascule Bridge and presented it in IEM INNOVACION held on 5<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> March, 2017.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In June 2018, 4<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> year students published a research paper at International Journal of Technical Innovation in Modern Engineering &amp; Science (IJTIMES)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Best paper award received by final year student Subham Roy in OPTRONIX 2016, jointly organized by IEM and UEM Kolkata<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Faculty Achievements Prof. Somnath Hazra has undertaken Short Term Training Programme on \u2018Refresher Course on Structural Analysis and Design using STAAD.Pro Software with an Introduction to Foundation Design\u2019 organized by NITTTR, Kolkata Prof. Somnath Hazra, Prof. Swarnabha Acharyya and Prof. Y.
