It began operations in the\n        academic year 2020\u20132021 and was founded under the auspices of the\n        University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata. The main goal of this\n        department is to teach fundamental ideas like computational thinking,\n        object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, machine\n        learning, deep learning, database management systems, artificial\n        intelligence (including search strategies and knowledge representation),\n        natural language processing, and Python programming for problem-solving.\n        As a result, students will have a thorough understanding of artificial\n        intelligence and machine learning through the application of real-world\n        issues in a wide range of application domains, including speech and\n        natural language processing, computer vision, cognitive sciences, and\n        others. Throughout their studies, students will get expertise in a\n        variety of professional electives given by machine learning, computer\n        vision, voice and natural language processing, data analytics, cyber\n        security, blockchain, cloud computing and generative AI domain\n        verticals.\n      <\/p>\n      <h4 class=\"mb-2\">Vision of the Department<\/h4>\n      <p class=\"text-sm mb-4\">\n        Our vision is to be the forerunner in AI and ML and to generate globally\n        employable graduates with ethical principles who are dedicated to\n        creating a maintain an academic\n          atmosphere that prioritizes research and publishing.\n        <\/li>\n        <li>\n          To inculcate individuals with a solid understanding of artificial\n          intelligence, machine learning, and computer science and engineering,\n          both theoretically and practically\n        <\/li>\n        <li>\n          To impart knowledge of artificial >Program graduates will use their skills in computer science and\n        engineering to effectively identify and solve significant challenges in\n        a variety of application areas.\n      <\/p>\n      <p class=\"text-sm mb-2\">\n        <strong>PEO 02: Real Life Problem Solving <\/strong>To develop students&#8217;\n        skill in the fundamentals of computer science, engineering, and allied\n        engineering fields so they can understand engineering trade-offs and\n        analyze, design, and synthesize technical concepts and data to produce\n        innovative products and solutions for real-world issues.\n      <\/p>\n      <p class=\"text-sm mb-2\">\n        <strong>PEO 03: Leadership <\/strong>Program graduates will pursue\n        lucrative careers in business and academics and rise to prominent\n        positions where they can make a difference in their communities,\n        businesses, and professions.\n      <\/p>\n      <p class=\"text-sm\">\n        <strong>PEO 04: Lifelong Learning <\/strong>Graduates of the program will\n        be able to adjust to modern tools, methods, and approaches in order to\n        stay at the forefront of AI, ML and    mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering\n        specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.\n      <\/p>\n      <p class=\"text-sm mb-2\">\n        <strong>PO2:<\/strong> Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, research\n        literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching\n        substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural\n        sciences, and engineering sciences.\n      <\/p>\n      <p class=\"text-sm mb-2\">\n        <strong>PO3:<\/strong> Design\/Development of solutions: Design solutions\n        for complex engineering problems and design system components or\n        processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration\n        for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and\n        environmental considerations\n      <\/p>\n      <p class=\"text-sm mb-2\">\n        <strong>PO4:<\/strong> Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use\n        research-based knowledge and research methods including design of\n        experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the\n        information to provide valid conclusions.\n      <\/p>\n      <p class=\"text-sm mb-2\">\n        <strong>PO5:<\/strong> Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply\n        appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools\n        including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with\n        an understanding of the limitations.\n      <\/p>\n      <p class=\"text-sm mb-2\">\n        <strong>PO6:<\/strong> The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed\n        by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal\n        and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the\n        professional engineering practice.\n      <\/p>\n      <p class=\"text-sm mb-2\">\n        <strong>PO7:<\/strong> Environment and sustainability: Understand the\n        impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and\n        environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for\n        sustainable development.\n
