\n The\n University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur<\/strong\n >\n observed World Environment Day on 5 June 2026<\/strong> with\n great enthusiasm and active participation from the university\n community. The programme was organized by the\n National Service Scheme (NSS), UEM Jaipur<\/strong>. \n The address highlighted the importance of sustainable living,\n responsible use of natural resources, protection of\n biodiversity, and collective efforts to preserve the environment\n for present and future generations.\n <\/p>\n\n

\n Participants were encouraged to understand that environmental\n protection is not solely the responsibility of government\n institutions or environmental organizations, but is a shared\n responsibility of every individual.\n <\/p>\n\n

\n One of the major activities organized as part of the World\n Environment Day celebration was a large-scale tree plantation\n drive across different locations of the university campus.\n <\/p>\n

\n Approximately 100 saplings were planted with the active\n involvement of students, faculty members, and staff. The\n plantation activity aimed at increasing the green cover of the\n campus and contributing towards the creation of a healthier and\n more sustainable environment.\n <\/p>\n

\n The activity also provided students with practical exposure to\n environmental conservation.
