University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur was honored to be invited to the prestigious Two-Day Workshop on the \u201cNational IP Yatra Program\u201d, organized by the <\/a>PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, held on March 28\u201329, 2025, at Hotel Shakun, Jaipur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop focused on \u201cIntellectual Property Rights: Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, and Geographical Indications,\u201d and brought together key stakeholders to foster awareness and understanding of IPR in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Distinguished Guests included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Sh. V. Saravana Kumar, IAS, Secretary, DST, Government of Rajasthan (Chief Guest)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Sh. Gaurav Joshi, Joint Director, MSME, Jaipur (GoI) (Guest of Honour)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They emphasized the importance of patents and copyrights, the reimbursement schemes available for IPR-related expenses, and the significance of the IPR-TT Cells initiated across 100 selected institutions by DST and AICTE, Govt. of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These sessions provided deep insights into IP enforcement, infringement consequences, filing procedures, and the strategic importance of patent protection in India’s innovation ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
