Go-karts come in all shapes and forms, from motor less models to high-powered\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kart_racing\">racing machines<\/a>. Some, such as\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Superkart\">Super karts<\/a>, are able to beat racing <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2022\/02\/16\/look-out-for-some-exciting-electric-cars-2022-that-can-become-trendsetters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cars<\/a> or motorcycles on long circuits.<\/p>\n<p>The Students of the University of Engineering &amp; Management (UEM), Jaipur designed and manufactured their own car \u2013 a Go Kart and participated in the National Kart <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2022\/06\/22\/providing-real-world-utility-is-the-hallmark-of-apecoin-racing-ahead-for-the-long-haul\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Racing<\/a> Championship and emerged champions of Rajasthan. The students of the University of Engineering &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2022\/04\/26\/time-management-of-the-billionaires\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Management<\/a> (UEM), Jaipur have developed this \u201cGo Kart\u201d at their own Mechanical Workshop. It was completed in a year. The pre final year <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2021\/12\/08\/mistakes-students-make-on-repaying-the-student-loans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">students<\/a> of 2015 batch gave their optimum inputs and achieved their goal. The formula one car is a single-seat, open cockpit, open-wheel <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2022\/06\/22\/providing-real-world-utility-is-the-hallmark-of-apecoin-racing-ahead-for-the-long-haul\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">racing<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2022\/06\/22\/choosing-the-best-car-insurance-in-canada\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">car<\/a> with substantial front and rear wings, and an <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2021\/11\/16\/tiktok-is-an-advertising-engine-heres-why\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">engine<\/a> positioned behind the <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2022\/05\/02\/reasons-to-start-a-career-as-a-truck-driver-and-what-to-expect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">driver<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2022\/07\/06\/trello-students-best-tool-for-project-management-and-organization\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">project<\/a> was started with the basic\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2022\/02\/11\/what-does-infrastructure-as-code-look-like-in-a-multi-cloud-system\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">structure <\/a>followed in any <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2022\/02\/18\/bmw-brings-new-electric-vehicle-to-japan-as-consumers-show-greater-willingness\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">automobile<\/a> industry with market survey, designing, <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2021\/04\/29\/5-ways-to-streamline-manufacturing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">manufacturing<\/a> and giving it a proper finishing.<\/p>\n<p>The Students of 2016 batch of the University of Engineering &amp; Management (UEM), Jaipur designed and manufactured their own car and participate in SAE CONVENTION 2018 and won award for best suspension design.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-427\" src=\"https:\/\/media.uem.edu.in\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2020\/06\/8-17-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"464\" height=\"308\" srcset=\"https:\/\/media.uem.edu.in\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2020\/06\/8-17-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/media.uem.edu.in\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2020\/06\/8-17.jpg 506w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 464px) 100vw, 464px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong><u>NUMITOR-18<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Numitor-18 is an \u201cE-Series Bike\u201d, which runs by paddling and motor as well. The motor used in this vehicle is of 250 W and operated on 24 V DC and the motor gets its power by ESC in controlled manner. Battery installed in this bike is a Li-ion battery (18cells assembled together) which gives output of 24V and 54000mAh capacity. Numitor-18 has range of 15-20Km with speed of 15Km\/hr.<\/li>\n<li>Aerodynamic air vents are made to allow air circulation around the ESC, BMS and the battery to reduce rise in temperature while operating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The dashboard comprises of an ignition key, <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2021\/11\/29\/essential-steps-to-a-successful-launch-of-your-android-app\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Android<\/a> phone-based speedometer, battery level indicator, headlight switch and also the horn switch. Charging port is mounted on the top of the <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2022\/06\/07\/body-language-tips-for-better-customer-service\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">body<\/a>.\u00a0 The <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2022\/02\/10\/bitcoin-mine-is-a-waste-of-energy-says-goldman-backed-battery-maker\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">battery<\/a> supports fast <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2020\/11\/29\/electric-vehicle-and-electric-vehicle-charging-station-sneak-peek\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">charging<\/a>. It approx. requires 1hr. to charge 100%. It is basically a <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2022\/03\/08\/what-you-should-know-about-dirt-bike-graphics-kit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bike<\/a> meant for heavy drag race with only linear degree of freedom. The 2017 batch students initiated this project and it is under <a href=\"https:\/\/businessupside.com\/2022\/02\/10\/custom-software-development-tools-for-high-performance-apps\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">development<\/a> with the guidance and assistance of Professor Akash Dubey. The team members having their own roles and responsibilities in this project.
