Definition According to W.H.O: Physiotherapists assess, plan and implement rehabilitative programmes that improve or restore human motor functions, maximize movement ability, relieve pain syndromes and treat or prevent physical challenges associated with injuries, diseases and other impairments. They apply a broad range of physical therapies and techniques such as movement, ultrasound, heating, laser and other techniques. They may develop and implement programmes for screening and prevention of common physical ailments and disorders.
Physiotherapy is a health care profession and physiotherapists are concerned with human function and movement. Worldwide, physical therapy training ranges from basic work site education in hospitals and outpatient clinics to professional doctoral degree and masters programs.
In India, Universities offer Bachelor's, Master's and also Ph.D in Physiotherapy. Introduction of Bachelors in Physiotherapy (BPT) is a 4.5 Year undergraduate program in Physiotherapy with 6 months of mandatory clinical internship. The course has great demand. Our faculty receives help and active support from the renowned doctors in Jaipur for training the students, besides utilizing various accredited hospitals in Jaipur & all over India. The University offers Bachelors and Masters program of study in Physiotherapy.
