ACM Distinguished Speaker Program on 26th July, 2018 at UEM Jaipur campus

Dr. Robert P. Schumaker, Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Tyler, USA addressed the students and teachers of the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Jaipur under the ACM Distinguished Speaker Program on 26th July, 2018 at UEM Jaipur campus, on the topic of “Machine Learning the Harness Track: Crowdsourcing and Varying Race History”.

Dr. Robert P. Schumaker is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Tyler, the George W. and Robert Pirtle Endowed Professor of Business, Director of the Data Analytics Lab, Associate Editor of Decision Support Systems (DSS) journal.

Dr. Schumaker is an accomplished researcher with over 40 publications and a g-index score of 35; measuring scientific productivity based on published articles and citations. His research deals with predictive analytics in the areas of textual/financial, sports and healthcare analytics.
